As the 2024-2025 year comes to an end, we say goodbye to our friends and faculty and prepare for the summer ahead. This year has been one of the best for the Chronicle; we have published articles more than ever before and have always been in an abundance of news to share with our community. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end as we face the fact that many of the Colonel Chronicle’s staff members were seniors, who all did a fantastic job of keeping the paper running (you can read their acknowledgements here).
However, this does not mean that our newspaper will stop. With the bittersweet goodbye of our beloved staff comes the opportunity for fresh new faces that are willing to staff the newspaper. Whether you’re an avid writer, a frequent reader, or someone entirely new to the world of journalism—the Colonel Chronicle will invite you in with open arms!
Remember: the paper isn’t just for writers. It is for people who want a space to share their creativity and advance their skills. Next school year, there will be many new additions to the paper, and many new positions to fill.
From the Chronicle, we hope you all have a wondrous summer! See you in the next chapter of the newspaper.
