Worcester had two basketball teams in the state finals this year!

The South High Girls Basketball Team faced Medfield at the UMass Tsongas Center for the 2024 D2 State Title. Medfield took the win, 48-42.  The South High girls tried their hardest to get the win and the South community is proud of them!

Right after the Colonels’ game, North High and Franklin played each other for the D1 state title.  North High made a comeback and beat Franklin with the score 59-53, obtaining  back-to-back state championships.
