Throughout the course of the last month, the 4 “Guild” awards were held, the fourth out of five major award shows honoring film. The Guild awards consist of 4 award shows honoring major parts of a film. The Directors Guild, Producers Guild, Screen Actors Guild, and the Writers Guild. These are the recaps of each award show.
The 78th Directors Guild of America Awards – DGA
On Saturday, February 7th, The DGA Awards were held to honor the directors who worked hard to bring last year’s films to the big screen. These are the Directors who were seen as most award worthy.
- Feature Film – Paul Thomas Anderson (One Battle After Another)
- First Time Feature Film – Charlie Polinger (The Plague)
- Documentary Film – Mstyslav Chernov (2000 Meters to Andriivka)
The 37th Producers Guild of America Awards – PGA
On Saturday, February 28th, The PGA awards were presented to honor the producers who helped bring all of last year’s films to the big screen. These are the Producers who were seen as most award worthy.

The 32nd Actor Awards – SAG
On Sunday, March 1st, the Actor awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, or SAG awards were presented to honor the actors that helped bring all of the excellent characters from these films to life. These were the Actors who were seen as most award worthy.

The 78th Writers Guild of America Awards – WGA
On Sunday, March 8th, The WGA awards were held to honor the creative writers that came up with the plots of these brilliant films and would pave the way for these films to be created. These are the writers who were seen as most award worthy.
