School is officially back in session which means students are strutting the halls with their new fits. And of course, I decided to capture some of the popular styles this new academic year.
In fact, this year, there seems to be a common fashion trend sweeping among students. Lots of students this year are embracing a laid-back vibe while still looking stylish. Whether it be oversized hoodies and sweatpants with a touch of jewelry or cute tote bags, South High students are showing that comfort goes hand in hand with fashion.
And how could you forget footwear? Shoes like the Knu Skool Vans, Yeezys, & Birkenstocks are dominating the fashion scene here at South High. But New Balances & Uggs are also making an appearance in everyday outfits. For the students, simplicity has become the new chic.
The best thing about all of this is that students are not just showcasing their clothes but also their individuality and creativity through how they put pieces together. It just goes to show how fashion will always continue to evolve and be a form of self-expression.
Though I couldn’t capture every students’ outfit, the ones I took show that at the end of the day, you wear the clothes, not the other way around. It’s wonderful to see that students are making their own fashion statements while still feeling comfortable.
So, get ready to see some more trendy looks as the weeks pass by, here at South.
