I am happy to introduce an article series entitled “South Sides,” which will highlight sides of South students that the school community may not be as familiar with. We hope to profile students and focus not just on academic success but on their passions, interests, commitments, qualities and more that exist beyond the classroom walls of South High.
First up will be an in depth interview with Uche Mba, conducted by Keeva Cavanaugh and introducing us to Uche’s thriving poetic identity. Also, Juli Potter introduces us to the inner resilience of a South student who shows a side that often gets overlooked in our daily school lives.
We welcome pieces from all students at South here at the paper, so if you know someone who has a “side” to them that you would like to profile, consider writing an article or creating a video to submit to our SUBMISSION LINK.
If you have a side of yourself or someone else that you would like to share, consider contacting Ms. Ledoux at [email protected], and we can set up an interview.
