At drama club this year, we are delving into the world of iconic YA films of the 2000s, romantic revenge heroes, and of course, Twilight. This year’s play, New Kids at Vampire High, follows the story of Brella Wann and her little sister Pookie Wann as they start the new school year at Tepes High. Of course, here, every other student is a vampire. As an actor in the play, the story is perfectly cringe-worthy and comedic. Scenes include an intense basketball game, a huge talent show, and of course, a dramatic end fight scene, obviously worthy of winning the 2025 Oscars. In the midst of rehearsals, we are currently working on set design, perfecting our lines, and blocking out scenes. Opening night will be later in the Spring semester, so keep an eye out for more news. This is not a show you want to miss!

Lucy Reidy, News Editor
Hey! I'm a senior at South High, and I am also the student life and news editor for the Colonel Chronicle. My passions include reading, writing, fashion, and music-- which I'm so glad that I have been able to synthesize into my works for the Chronicle. I love learning new instruments, and I'm currently at six. In addition, I also write a lot in my free time. I really hope to pursue writing professionally one day, and I believe the Chronicle is the first step to getting there.
