The New Year has arrived and it is time for a tradition that is centuries old to return: predictions. I asked South High students and teachers what they thought was going to happen in in 2024 and split it into five categories: Politics, Sports, Culture, Weather, and Miscellaneous.

- *Denim-on-denim is in fashion again
- *Wicked will premiere and be a complete flop
- George Santos creates a fashion line
Weather
- *Less than 6 snow days
- Exactly 5 snow days
- 3 delays
Miscellaneous
- It’s only up from here
- Someone breaks into the gated bathrooms
- 6 more fights before the year ends
The winner for the most cryptic prediction is: “the next level.” I don’t know what that means at all to be honest.
